Preparing the Smoking Chips

Soak Montana smoking chips for 5 to 15 minutes in water, beer, or any liquid of your choice. Drain liquid and place Montana chips in Smokerin™ smoker box. Close lid.



Using the Smokerin Smoker Box on a Gas Grill

Use the Smokerin™ Smoker Box on a Gas Grill

Heat grill to 550° F. Use handle to place Smokerin™ smoker box on grill. Close lid until Smokerin™ starts smoking.

Placing the Smokerin Smoker Box on the Burner Deflectors of a Gas Grill

in between Burner Deflectors

Start your grill. Use handle to place Smokerin™ smoker box directly between burner deflectors. Once Smokerin™ starts smoking use handle to move smoker box to the grill top.

For maximum smoke, keep Smokerin™ smoker box between burner deflectors. Do not place meat directly over Smokerin™ to avoid flare ups.

Using support brackets with the Smokerin Smoker Box


Using the Brackets:
In some grills Smokerin™ smoker box may not fit between burner deflector bars. Use the brackets to support Smokerin™. Bend brackets as necessary to fit properly between the burner deflector bars. Insert brackets into an unlit grill, positioned to support both ends of the Smokerin™.

Use the Smokerin™ Smoker Box on a Charcoal Grill

Use handle to place Smokerin™ smoker box in the middle of glowing charcoal. Once Smokerin™ starts smoking use handle to move smoker box to the grill top. Do not place meat directly over Smokerin™ to avoid flare ups.

Start your grill. Use handle to place Smokerin™ smoker box on grill. Close lid until Smokerin™ starts smoking.

Warning: Metal gets hot! Use handle and grilling gloves. Do not use the Smokerin™ smoker box set indoors.
